NORTH VERNON

William Douglas “Bill” Arthur, 75, of North Vernon died at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Jean Arthur of North Vernon; four children, Kirk Douglas (Lakie) Arthur, Yolanda Jean Heavern, Yvette Doreen Arthur and William Douglas Arthur Jr., all of North Vernon; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Arthur.

A graveside service will be at noon Tuesday at Vernon Cemetery.

Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to autism awareness or Hospice of Jennings County.
