Lois V. Sewell Kissel, 82, of Seymour passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Dec. 29, 1933, in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Elizabeth Godwin Craig, both of whom preceded her in death. On July 26, 1951, in Kingsland, Georgia, she married Moses N. Sewell Jr., who preceded her in death Oct. 19, 1987. On Feb. 20, 1990, in Seymour, she married Donald L. Kissel, who preceded her in death March 17, 2001.

Lois worked as a nurse’s aide at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour and Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown for many years.

Survivors include her children, Gary N. (Linda) Sewell, Beth Ann (Wayne) Voltz, Linda Joy (Tony) Pack and Theresa Gail (Ray) Goethe; a brother, Richard L. Craig; and five stepchildren, Marie Brooks, Bobby Flemming, Bonnie Hauer, Donna Guinn and Lisa Trimpe.

Beside her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael William Sewell; and a brother, Thomas E. Craig.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Robertson Cemetery in Honeytown.

Voss and Sons Funeral Service in Seymour handled the arrangements.
