Fredric Eugene “Red” Dannettelle, 80, of Seymour passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Seymour Crossing.
Born Sept. 13, 1935, in Seymour, he was the son of Frederick Ohelman and Virginia Baker Dannettelle, both of whom preceded him in death.
Red served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked as a truck driver most of his life.
Survivors include his children, Monte (Susan) Dannettelle, Matt (Sheri) Dannettelle and Jennifer Dannettelle; grandchildren, Harlee, Alexa, Isaiah, Brianna and Katy; brother, Tom Dannettelle; and sisters, Ruth Allman and Bonnie Allman.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Tim Dannettelle and Corey Dannettelle; and two grandsons, Skylar and Zachary.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel with taps and military flag service to follow.
