Amish author to speak at library

The public is invited to hear Amish book author Shelley Shepard Gray speak at 2 p.m. May 14 in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Gray lives in southern Ohio with her husband, two teenagers and two dogs. She writes for Avon, and her novels have appeared on both New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. She has produced several series, including “Sugarcreek,” “Sisters of the Heart,” “Amish Brides of Pinecraft” and others.

Gray will explain her process of writing fiction, answer questions and sign books, which will be available for purchase.

The Friends of the Library and the Jackson County Public Library Spilling Ink Writers Club are sponsoring this free program.
