Library hosting bicentennial program

Hear about some interesting historic Jackson County individuals during the bicentennial program “Compelling Jackson County Characters: Dr. Monroe, Lawyer Brown, Merchant Harding, Thieves and Clowns.”

Charlotte Sellers will present the program at 6:30 p.m. April 6 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Registration is preferred by going to myjclibrary.org/events or calling the Seymour Library at 812-523-INFO (4636).

Sellers retired from the Jackson County Public Library as a local history specialist and is the current Jackson County genealogist and former Jackson County historian. She is the author of “Saving Seymour Stories: Tales from the First 50 Years,” stories retold for the Seymour Museum.
