COLUMBUS

Hurshel Hurd, 82, of Columbus died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Columbus Regional Health.

Survivors include his wife, June Adams Hurd; daughters, Debbie (Brett) Lambert and Robin (Max) Bode, both of Columbus; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Eva Shinolt and Melvin (Faith Ann) Hurd, all of Columbus, Sally Ray, Florene (Jim) Sylvester and Mary (Steve) Muster, all of Seymour, Celcia (Jeff) Francisco of Bloomington, Opal (Clint) Baker of Salem and Tim (Nadine) Hurd of Florida.

A daughter, Connie Sue Everett, preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until time of service Friday.

Military honors will be presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
