Trinity tops Rising Sun
RISING SUN — The Trinity Lutheran boys basketball team topped Rising Sun 64-48 to conclude their regular season Saturday.
In the first quarter, the Cougars outscored the Shiners 19-12.
Up 35-21 at the half, the Cougars held the Shiners to 11 points in the third quarter before cruising to the win.
Senior Jacob Schult led the Cougars with 23 points, Dylan Maschino had 14 and Chad Stuckwisch buried three 3-pointers for nine.
Tuesday, the Cougars (16-7) will play Medora in the first-round of the Class A West Washington Sectional
