Braves stay perfect in MSC
CLARKSVILLE — The Brownstown Central boys basketball moved to 8-0 in Mid-Southern Conference play with a 81-55 victory at Clarksville on Saturday.
The Braves opened with an 11-8 lead after eight minutes of play and led 35-28 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Braves opened-up the lead out-scoring the Generals 22-11.
BCHS’ offense didn’t falter in the fourth quarter, as they added 24 more points.
Junior Cody Waskom led the Braves with 21 points, Zach McCory tallied 15 and Carson Lambring chipped-in 12 (four 3-pointers).
Bryce Hale topped the Generals’ scoring with 14 points.
On the boards, the Generals out-rebounded the Braves 29-23.
Friday, the Braves (16-2) will host Bedford North Lawrence.
