Ken Rider, 69, of Seymour, passed from this life at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Born Nov. 1, 1945, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Leland and Alice Johnson Rider, both of whom preceded him in death. On June 21, 1980, he married Pamela S. Stilwell, who survives.

Mr. Rider was a lifelong musician.

Other survivors include a brother, Gary (Mary) Rider of Terre Haute; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Max Rider.

A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Section 63 at Garland Brook Cemetery with Brian Rider officiating. Cremation was planned.

Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or donor’s choice of charity.
