Seymour man promoted at Old National Bank

Ray Eakins recently was promoted to market president by Old National Bank.

The Seymour resident will continue to serve as banking center manager for the bank’s Seymour locations in addition to his new role.

Eakins has 29 years of service in banking both as a banking center manager and a loan servicing manager.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, and is pursuing an master of business administration degree through the leadership program at Olivet Nazarene University.

Eakins also is a board member and past chairman of Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce, a board member and treasurer of the Community Foundation of Jackson County, a board member and treasurer of Boys and Girls Club of Seymour and a board member of Seymour Industrial Corp., Jackson County Industrial Development Corp. and the Community Agency Board.
