To the editor:

As a graduate of Seymour High School, Class of 1965, I felt compelled to write about our 50th class reunion held here in Seymour, June 27, 2015.

To the reunion committee who faithfully has kept the spark to bring our classmates together, thank you from my heart.

I was so impacted by our reunion, reading the names of 40 precious classmates who have went on into eternity. Then reading the names of each classmate who endured the war called Vietnam (myself included).

This was a night I will always remember. As the reunion band played those oldies but goodies, and we danced to the music, in those few hours I felt 18 again.

Being with classmates, some who I have not seen in 50 years all I can say is, “I love you for who you are and may the good Lord bless and keep you so we may come together again.”
