Edna Pauline Hagen, 90, of Seymour, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.

Born May 16, 1925, in Uniontown, she was the daughter of Frank and Sarah Jane Fletcher Bowman, both of whom preceded her in death. On Nov. 22, 1941, in New Albany, she married Charles W. Hagen, who preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1999.

She attended Crothersville Church of the Nazarene and retired after 25 years of service from Panasote Corp. She enjoyed cooking for family, flower gardening, sewing, shopping and garage sales.

Survivors include her two sons, Charles W. (Kathy) Hagen Jr. and Bradley A. Hagen, both of Seymour; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Sue Heideman and Judy Ann Bode; two brothers, Harold Bowman and Ivan Bowman; and three sisters, Ruby Watkins, Della Mae King and an infant sister.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel in Seymour with the Rev. Mark Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
