Barbara Elaine “Bobbi” Brown Bergdoll, 69, of Norman, died at 7:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, surrounded by family at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington after a six-month illness.

Born Oct. 5, 1945, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Bernie and Anna Fields Brown of Norman, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married a short time to Steve Bergdoll, who was from Bedford and is deceased.

Bobbi was a 1963 graduate of Clearspring High School. She retired after many years at Four Seasons Sports in Bedford and a member of the Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include four children, Cheryl Meadows, Johnny (Trudy) Brown, Nancy (Larry) Mosier and Jane (Mark) Meadows.

She was especially proud of her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces. Angie Crawford (Michael Barnes), Jamie (Allison) Brown, Klent (Kim) Brown, Todd (Jaime) Brown, Heather (Russel) McGlothlin, and Larry Mosier, Jr. Melinda (Jeffrey) Johnson, Andrew (Leslie) Crawford, Eli, Ella, and Silas Brown, Cora, Porter, Oliver, Avery, and Charli Brown, and Bella, Sawyer, and Symon Brown, Anna and Bill McGlothlin. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Brad Meadows.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown, with Pastor Tim Lichtley officiating. Burial will follow at Guthrie Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until time of service on Friday.
