NORTH VERNON

William P. “Billy” Byron, 79, of North Vernon, died at 7:09 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.

Survivors include a brother, Daniel P. (Lynne) Byron of Carmel; and a sister, Kathleen (Richard) Stadler of Carmel.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Michael O’Mara officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

A rosary service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Also Wednesday at the funeral home, a Moose service will be at 4:30 p.m., and visitation will be from 1 to 5:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, North Vernon Moose Lodge or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
