NORTH VERNON

Pamela Sue Tomlinson, 43, of North Vernon, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at her residence.

Born April 12, 1972, in Columbus, the daughter of Steve and Barbara Ann Carroll Mays. She was born and raised in Columbus and has been a North Vernon resident for the past seven years. She attended Columbus East High School. She loved animals, especially horses. On Dec. 11, 2009, in Seymour, she married Brian Tomlinson, who survives.

Other survivors include her parents, Steve and Barbara Ann Mays of Seymour; two sons, Christopher Allen (Rachel) Mays of Hayden and Dustin Lee (Zoila) Mays of Columbus; sister, Shannon Shuffitt of Seymour; brother, Junior (Karen) Mays of Columbus; two  granddaughters and four stepgranddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Deler and Louise Carroll and Kenneth and Betty Hatchett; her great-niece, Adriana Shuffitt and her great-nephew, Jameasyn Crider.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport.

Visitation will be noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association and Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
