Seymour’s first regional boys basketball championship team, the 1969-70 Owls.

Following victories against Scottsburg (80-79) and Jennings County (84-83), the Owls beat Brazil 74-51 and Bloomington high school 90-64 in the Bloomington Regional finals.

At the Evansville semistate, the Owls defeated Milltown 68-60 before falling to Loogootee 80-78.
