Southern Indiana Center for the Arts is partnering with Chateau de Pique Winery, 6361 N. County Road 760E, Seymour, for a Paint the Town event from 1 to 4 p.m. March 8.

Paint the Town is a social painting event where participants do not have to have experience or talent to join the fun.

Art instructors from the center will provide all supplies and instructions to guide participants to a masterpiece, according to a news release from the arts center.

“We like to distinguish ourselves from other classes by occasionally offering an acrylic painting on something other than canvas,” instructor Darnell Dukes said. “This month, we chose a smooth, rounded garden rock. The cluster of purple, white and cream pansies is a sure sign of spring. Add your own message and finish the project with a sealant for outdoor protection.”

The $30 cost includes all supplies and instructions to complete the painting. Those attending can purchase drinks during the event.
