Immanuel Lutheran Guild discusses Mormon faith

The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting Nov. 4 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.

President Sandy Kilgas opened the meeting. Pastor Jimmy Rodriguez led the devotion, discussing the Mormon faith.

Nuts were available for pickup. They will be sold from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Holiday Craft Show at Trinity Lutheran High School in Seymour.

Lisa Lewis spoke about the cookie walk, which is scheduled for Dec. 6. The Christmas dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2.

The tables were decorated with fall centerpieces of colorful leaves, Thanksgiving decor and sugar-glazed pecans. A pumpkin dessert with hot apple cider was served.

The mite box was given to the Gobbler Given event on Thanksgiving Day. Dianna Vonstrohe had closing devotions.

Hostesses for the evening were Norma Pollert, Martha Bloch, Mary Ann Jordan and Carolyn Alberring.
