At 6 a.m. today, Indiana American Water Co. issued a boil water advisory for six commercial properties in the Freeman Field Industrial Park in Seymour due to an emergency water main break.

Affected customers include 1811, 1820 and 1752 First Ave. and 1109, 1275 and 1250 G Ave.

Customers may experience low water pressure for a period of 11 hours.

Customers in the boil advisory area are advised to drink and cook with tap water only after boiling it for approximately 3 minutes. Tap water can be used for washing/bathing without boiling.

The advisory will expire at 8 a.m. Wednesday unless otherwise notified.
