Local young professionals can meet and mingle during a social event from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at Vat and Barrel, 212 E. Second St., Seymour.

The event is for members of Jackson County Young Professionals, which recently was restarted by the Seymour Chamber of Commerce.

JCYP is designed to provide opportunities for young professionals to develop a personal network, grow professionally and succeed in business while enhancing the community’s quality of life.
