Alice Ridlen 81, of Seymour passed away at home on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Born October 27, 1936 in Seymour, IN she was the daughter of Karl and Freida (Klosterman) Schoenfelder.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday from 9 am until time of service at Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.

On August 31, 1958, in Seymour, she married Richard Ridlen who preceded her in death September 1, 2012.

Alice was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Shields High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Seniors 107 Club.

She is survived by her children, Daniel (Mheldy) Ridlen and David Ridlen, Linda (Tony) Oathout, grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Haley, and Elijah Ridlen, Derek and Lindsey Ridlen, Ashley (Brandon) Cole, Blake Oathout and Steven Oathout, great grandchildren, Ashlyn and Jacklyn Cole, sisters, Marie Wischmeier and Carolyn Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in law Rebecca Ridlen, and brothers, Carl Schoenfelder, Gilbert Schoenfelder, John Schoenfelder, and Harold Schoenfelder.
