The annual Jackson County Fair Horseshoe Pitching Contest will be Sunday.

Registration is at 2 p.m. at the horseshoe pitches located near Gate 6 behind the show arena.

The competition will begin at 2:30 p.m. There are two divisions, a beginners and an advanced class.

There will be cash prizes for the top three finishers in each division.

Sponsors for this year’s contest are Brownstown Hardware and Phil Nale for Sheriff.
