The Crothersville Town Council will conduct a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the town hall, 111 E. Howard St., to discuss the purchase of an excavator.

During the council’s meeting earlier this month, Mason Boicourt, the town’s wastewater superintendent, presented quotes for the purchase of a mini excavator so he and other town employees can begin working on drainage issues.

They were going to try out two sizes of excavators to determine which one would work best and then present that to the council.

The meeting is open to the public and press.
