A “Celebration of Pollinators” set for July 6 at refuge

A “Celebration of Pollinators” is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 6 at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

There will be pollinator-themed children’s activities, a face-painter, a honeybee exhibit, pollinator programs and information available about gardening for and conserving pollinators.

A butterfly identification stroll will take place at 11 a.m. around the visitor center. Free starts of pollinator plants also will be given away. All activities are free of charge and everyone is welcome.
