Regional Boys Golf

Brownstown Central

The Braves competed in the Washington Regional on Thursday morning, seeking a trip to the state tournament in Carmel next week.

Brownstown would finish in sixth place with a team score of 319. Led by Micah Sheffer who carded a 75, followed by Matthew Reedy who ended with a 78. Smith Hackman scored an 82, while Caiden Gwin finished with an 84. Collin Downing ended his round with an 84.

Evansville North, Bloomington South, and Castle all advanced to the State Finals. Gibson Southern and Jasper rounded out the top-5 teams.

Mid-Southern Conference Baseball

The Mid-Southern Conference announced their baseball selections on Friday afternoon.

Trent Lowery and Dalton Reedy were both selected to the MSC All-Conference team. Ethan Garland and Chick Tiemeyer were both selected to the honorable mention team.

All-Sectional Softball Team

Trinity Lutheran, Crothersville

Trinity Lutheran’s Addie Burcham and Zoey Dulaney were selected to the New Washington Sectional team. Zoey Prince and Dacie Hughes also made the team for the Crothersville Tigers.
