They shared a cherished first date at Cliff’s Drive-In, where they sipped on Cokes and enjoyed each other’s company, setting the foundation for a lifetime of love and companionship. A dedicated worker, Bill spent many years as a factory worker before retiring. He also devoted his time to the family dairy farm and crop farming, alongside his brother, only retiring a few short years ago. Bill’s commitment to hard work was unmatched, as he faithfully tended to the milk house every day for 60 years. His work ethic and love for the outdoors defined him, evident in his favorite pastime of coon hunting. Bill’s passion for the hunt extended beyond himself, as he took joy in passing down the tradition to his grandson. The “Coon Shack” on Bill’s property was a gathering place for him and his friends, where they would share stories and enjoy food after a night’s hunt. Bill was a graduate of Tampico High School and proudly served his country in the Army. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth E.
