The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

New business on the agenda includes a special request to close various lots and streets for the FOP Pre-Scoop Cruise-In and Car Show, including the Walnut St. and Robertson parking lots, St. Louis between Poplar and Walnut, and eastbound and westbound of St. Louis between Walnut and Chestnut.

Other new business on the agenda includes requests for sewer bill and sidewalk/driveway adjustments, and the swearing in of a new firefighter.

The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month.
