Brownstown Town Council is set to meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the Jackson County Courthouse.

Agenda items include a public hearing on the proposed storm water utility and an update about on the project from Mary Atkins with the Wessler Engineering.

The average residential customer could begin paying a fee ranging from $13 to $23 a month as early as June 1 if the stormwater utility is implemented. That fee will be added to the bill they currently pay the town for sanitary sewer, trash and recycling services.
