Colleen Sue (Rosengarn) Rogers, 69, of Seymour passed away on April 19, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer. Colleen was born on October 29, 1954, in Seymour to Ralph and Dorothy (Allman) Rosengarn. She worked for Scheck Medical Center in Housekeeping and for the Lawn and Garden Center of Wal Mart for many years. Colleen attended Calvary Baptist Church. She loved flowers and gardening, feeding birds and squirrels and taking pictures. What she cherished most was spending time with her family and visiting the Great Smokey Mountains with her husband.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Charles Rogers; sons: Charlie (Jessica) Rogers, Jr. and Shannon “Wane” (Amanda) Rogers; sisters: Rita Thomas, Karen Phillips and Debbie Weininger; five grandchildren: Dominique Andrew Rogers, Skya Lea Spears, Addyson Rogers, Delaney Rogers, and William Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Rebecca, Betty, JoAnn, Larry and infant brother, Gary.

Funeral services for Colleen will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday April 24, 2024, at Voss &Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 N. Chestnut St. Seymour. Immediately following the funeral, burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
