Barista night supporting Jackson County’s Impact Programs

Moxie Coffee Company located on 218 S. Chestnut St. will be hosting a barista night on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6-8 p.m.

Proceeds from this evening’s event go into Jackson County’s Impact Programs which are funded by Jackson County United Way of Indiana’s annual campaign.

Jackson County’s Impact Programs for the 2024 annual campaign include Anchor House, Boys & Girls Club, Child Care Network, Girls Inc., The ARC of Jackson County and Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.

“All of the impact programs are helping to create a thriving community,” said Michelle Kleber, the development director of Jackson County United Way.

Other upcoming supportive programs through Jackson County United Way include Day of Caring and Rock’n Ready.

The Trucks United event will be held along with Day of Caring on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Trucks United will have 10% of their profits going towards Day of Caring.

Jackson County United Way will be partnering with Brooklyn for a Music Night to raise funds for Rock’n Ready on June 8, 2024. Rock’n Ready is a school supplies event to ensure more children from low income families in Jackson County have school supplies.

Ticket sales for the Moxie barista night concluded April 22, 2023. The event had only 20 seats available to enjoy the barista class with espresso tasting, drink creating and charcuterie board sharing.
