The Jackson County Visitor Center is at 100 N. Broadway St., Seymour.

The Jackson County Visitor Center grant committee recently approved a number of grants for various non-profits.

The committee agreed to award $400 to the following organizations and their events: Anchor House for its ninth annual charity golf outing, Jackson County Antique Machinery Association for its 15th annual antique machinery show and swap meet; Seymour Museum Center for their Parking Lot Pickers event; Muscatatuck Wildlife Society for the refuge’s Wings Over Muscatatuck festival; the Crothersville Red, White and Blue Festival and Hamacher Hall’s Festival.

Theses funds will go toward offsetting promotional costs.
