The president and CEO of AISIN World Corporation of America (AWA) recently announced three personnel changes within the Seymour-based firm.

Scott Turpin said in a news release that effective Monday Scott Shade has been named executive vice president of AISIN Holdings of America (AHA) in Seymour, Joe Neuman has been named executive vice president of AISIN Drivetrain Inc. (ADI) in Crothersville and Kyle Warren has been named vice president of AISIN World Corp. of America in Seymour.

“The tremendous talent, commitment and experience represented by Scott, Joe and Kyle are vital assets and will help ensure AISIN’s ongoing success today and well into the future,” Turpin said. “Importantly, these company leaders are also dedicated community leaders each with a rich history of serving others and helping those in need.”

Shade joined the ADI production engineering department in 1998 and has held several management and executive positions since including vice president and executive vice president. As executive vice president, he oversees the holding and administration services company for all AISIN businesses in North America. ADI, where he has been president since 2019, manufactures transmissions, power steering columns, electric rear axles and electric water pumps for customers such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Stellantis.

Shade earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at Purdue University and graduated from the Ross School of Business executive management program at the University of Michigan. Besides his career, Shade, who lives in Brownstown, also is a well-known community leader, having supported many local organizations. He has been involved in youth athletics, the community food pantry “Shed for You” and was president of the Brownstown Central Community School’s board of trustees from 2019-2023.

Neuman, a nine-year veteran of ADI, holds responsibilities for ensuring all functions of operations continue to work efficiently including supply chain, internal manufacturing and customer satisfaction. Previously vice president of operations and new product planning, he had advanced through the ranks in the quality and engineering departments. Before becoming involved in the automotive industry, Neuman was a varsity and collegiate basketball coach, a school director and a behavioral consultant, which built upon skills that he uses to enhance performance and expectations at ADI.

At Hanover College, Neuman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, where he is still active in alumni leadership activities and with the engineering and athletic advisory boards. Neuman also earned a Master’s Degree in management and a special education license from Indiana Wesleyan University, where he still coaches multiple youth sports teams and is involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs. Now, he lives in Madison.

Warren began his career at AISIN 22 years ago, when he served as a production engineering intern at ADI. Before the executive change to vice president of production at AWA, he was the business unit manage at ADI. His years working have given him extensive experience in logistics, production control and purchasing and project management. Most recently, Warren’s achievements include managing all facets of ADI’s electrification business unit, which aided in the transfer of business from a sister company, launching three major production projects. As vice president of production, Warren will oversee all AISIN Corporation facilities in North America in production control, logistics and program management.

From Purdue University’s School of Technology, Warren earned associate degrees in applied science in organizational leadership & supervision and industrial technology, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in industrial distribution. He lives in Brownstown where he contributes to the community through his church council, the board of Trinity Lutheran High School and Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department, where he is a volunteer firefighter.
