Donald Wayne Couch, 63, of Seymour, IN, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Greenfield, IN. He was born on June 29, 1960, in Seymour, IN.

Don was a Christian man who brought light and laughter to those around him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Don’s sense of humor never failed to brighten people’s days.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Julie Ann Couch, his children Jennifer Smith (Corey) and Andrew Couch (Tonja), and eight grandchildren: Grace, Madison, Jackson, Avery, Hope, Faith, Ryan, and Joy. Don is also survived by his brothers Steve Couch, Darrell Couch (Tammy), Jason Cockerham (Missy), Shannon Cockerham, sister-in-law Connie Ellis, and several nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jim and Phyllis Cockerham, and his father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Pauline Crawford.

Don retired from Aisin USA on June 17, 2022, after a fulfilling career. He was a dedicated member of the Peter’s Switch Church of the Nazarene.

In his free time, Don enjoyed dirt track racing, passionately supported Purdue University, and was the biggest fan of the Crothersville girls volleyball and Seymour elementary girls swim team.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at the Peter’s Switch Church of the Nazarene (9528 N. Co.Rd. 760 E. Seymour, IN 47274) on April 6, 2024. Visitation will take place from 9-11:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Peter’s Switch Church of the Nazarene.

The Cremation Society of Indiana in Indianapolis, IN, is assisting with the arrangements.
