SEYMOUR

Daniel Vargas, age 25, a resident of Seymour, Indiana but a native of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 as the result of a car accident. He was born on October 22, 1998 in Dallas, the son of Louis E. Vargas, Sr. and Tamara D. Lopez. He was a 2017 graduate of Seymour High School and a 2021 graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where he studied to become a software engineer. He was a member of Central Christian Church and enjoyed sports, bicycling, soccer, cross country, and spending time with his friends.

Daniel was always smiling and participated in everything.

He is survived by his father, Louis Vargas, Sr. of Seymour; his mother: Tamara D. Lopez of

Houston, Texas; and his brothers: Carlos Vargas of Houston and Louis E. Vargas, Jr. of El Paso, Texas.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at

Christensen Family Funeral Home – Seymour Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Tyler Tolbert officiating.
