The Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District is now offering wildlife food plot seed for purchase.

The seed, which contains millet, milo and buckwheat, is to be sown in the ground for the purpose of feeding wildlife.

Each 5-pound bag, which will cover a quarter of an acre, costs $5 plus 35 cents tax per bag, and payment is needed at the time of pickup. A form will need to be signed stating the seed will not be used for birdseed.
