A Medora man was arrested Tuesday on multiple counts of possession of child pornography after a three-month investigation by the Indiana State Police.

Paxston A. Allman, 19, is charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography that were found on social media accounts and electronic devices, according to the police report.

The investigation began in December 2023 when a cybertip was received from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children. The tip was then forwarded to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to investigate.

The investigation led to a search warrant served at a residence in the 9000 block of West U.S. 50 near Medora.

During the investigation multiple images of suspected child pornography were found on devices and social media accounts belonging to Allman.

Allman was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail. He will soon face an initial appearance in the Jackson County Circuit Court in Brownstown.

Indiana State Police Detectives were assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
