Another sandwich shop is set to open in Seymour.

The sign is hung for a Penn Station East Coast Subs at the newly built retail center on 449 Cottonwood Drive.

Greg Bennett from Hoosier PS Inc said a grand opening celebration is set for March 18 and at the moment the project 80% complete.

The sandwich shop will employ 20 to 25 people and will not have a drive-thru.

“We believe we have a superior product and consistent friendly service,” he said.

Penn Station isn’t the only sandwich shop coming to Seymour as a Jimmy Johns is currently being constructed on the west side of town. With the addition of these two new businesses it will make a total of five sandwich shops in Seymour.
