Library unveils spring break activities

The Jackson County Public Library is offering free spring break activities at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries. Some programs are already full and accepting children to a wait list; however, there is room in some programs for a few more children.

Moon Glow Party

Kids will celebrate the upcoming solar eclipse in a glow-in-the-dark environment. Party size is limited, and registration is required.

Seymour

5:30 p.m. March 19 for grades K-5

11 a.m. March 20 for grades K-5

4:30 p.m. March 20 for ages 0-5

10:30 a.m. March 21 for ages 0-5

Crothersville

4:30 p.m. March 27 for ages 11 and under. Register by March 20.

Medora

4:30 p.m. March 28 for ages 11 and under at the Medora library. Register by March 21.

Drop-in craft

March 18-22 for ages 11 and under at the Seymour library while supplies last.

Drop-in glow-in-the-dark craft

Teens will create a unique glow-in-the-dark masterpiece.

9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. March 20-22 for grades 6-12 at the Seymour library while supplies last

Kids attending library programs in March and early April will receive a free pair of solar eclipse glasses at the end of each program while supplies last.
