SEYMOUR

Mark Allen Reed, age 67, a native of Terre Haute, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on June 7, 1956, the son of the late Doit and Shirley (Goodwin) Reed. He enjoyed working in the barn, refurbishing antiques, and doing metal working in his spare time. He always tried to do good and enjoyed blessing others with acts of kindness.

He is survived by his sons: Mark A. Reed II and his wife, Audrey of Bedford, Indiana, Brent Pollock of Seymour, and David Reed of Seymour; his daughters: Michelle Marasco and her husband, Dan of Bedford, and Bobbie Jo Hess and her husband, Eric of Seymour; his sister: Cheryl Miller of Annapolis, Illinois; his sister-in-law, Tracey Reed of Annapolis, Illinois; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Reed.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen with no services.
