“Black & White Gala” was the theme for the 51st annual Phi Beta Psi Cancer Dance on Feb. 3 at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.

Jenna Bolte of Brownstown was crowned the 2024 Cancer Dance queen. The daughter of Suzanne Bolte, Jenna attends Brownstown Central High School and plans to major in chemistry with a pre-med track.

During the dinner and dance, it was announced that the six queen candidates raised $16,190.

The sorority conducts other fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for local causes and its national project, cancer research.
