We have reached the three-quarter pole and are ready to turn the corner and head for home. League-leader Sauers E ran into a hot Wegan W team and lost two games 6-4 and 10-6 before winning the last game 7-6.

Wegan B and Immanuel 1 are tied for second just one game back. Wegan B had the bye this week, and Immanuel 1 swept Dudleytown N in grand fashion with scores of 6-4, 15-4 and 5-4 in 10 innings.

Dudleytown Mets faced their rival, Dudleytown D. Dudleytown D won the first two games 4-2 and 9-5 before the Mets came back and won Game 3 7- 2. Immanuel Darty got two games from Wegan A, winning the first game 6-5 on a walk-off triple by Justin Blomenberg.

Immanuel 1, Jonesville, Lutheran Lake and Redeemer S had good nights with each sweeping their opponents all three games.

With things tightening up down the stretch, there are some key matches coming up Monday.

Sauers E will look to hold onto first place while facing second-place Immanuel 1. A good rivalry match will have Wegan B facing Wegan W. Wegan B also is in second place, and Wegan W is not far behind. A sweep by Wegan W could put them right back in the battle for top spots.

Finally, Sauers B will face White Creek N. Sauers B has just a one-game lead in the loss column.

Good luck to all of the teams.
