Seymour-based JCBank celebrated the opening of its newest banking center, located at 1035 N. Lincoln St., Greensburg, with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 31.

The event welcomed Greensburg Mayor Joshua Marsh, Economic Development Corp. of Greensburg Executive Director Bryan Robbins and Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dawn Lowe along with JCBank staff and customers.

The 4,200-square-foot, state-of-the-art branch officially opened Dec. 18 and is the first JCBank banking center in Decatur County.

“Our commitment to the Decatur County community began in 2007 when we partnered with the city to support the development of the new airport runway project,” said Marvin Veatch, president and CEO of JCBank.

“Our relationships with this community have continued to grow, and we remain committed to providing residents and businesses with a customer-focused, relationship-centric approach to banking,” he said. “We are dedicated to Decatur County, not only to provide a full suite of banking, investment and trust services but to be an involved partner, supporting a number of organizations and causes, such as the Decatur County Family YMCA, the Decatur County Community Foundation and the Decatur County United Fund, to name a few.”

The full-service banking center will feature locally delivered personal banking, commercial and mortgage lending as well as wealth management, brokerage and trust services.

This banking center is the 13th for JCBank in its seven Indiana county footprint with multiple Indiana locations, including Seymour, Columbus, Bloomington, Bedford, Brownstown, North Vernon and Greenwood.
