A total of 13,950 students, including two from Seymour, enrolled during the fall 2023 semester at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).

The Seymour residents recognized were Joshua Rennekamp, who was named to the president’s list, and Kaylee Waskom, who was named to the dean’s list.
