SEYMOUR

Jay L. Monies, 67 of Greenfield Indiana, formerly of Seymour, passed away January 1, 2024.

He was born February 24, 1956, on an Air Force Base in Japan to the late Lawrence E. &Lois A. (Gill) Monies.

Jay attended and graduated from Seymour High School.

He is survived by three stepchildren; Peggy, Junior, and Betty; three siblings; Jon R. Monies, James E. Monies and Janis M. (Monies) Turner. A visitation will take place from 11:00am – 12:00pm, Monday, January 8th at Voss &Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 316 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour with a funeral service starting at 12:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery next to his late wife, Bettie.
