BLOOMINGTON

Steven Michael Venegas, 41, of Bloomington passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in his home. He was born September 3, 1982 in Wauseon, Ohio to Expedito Venegas and Theresa Piercy Venegas. He was a truck driver for Crider Construction.

Survivors include his three sons, Xavier Venegas of Huntingburg, Zaden and Eli Venegas of Seymour; his mother, Theresa Venegas; his father and stepmother, Expedito and Maria Venegas; three sisters, Crystina Bingham, Cristal and Jennifer Venegas; four brothers, Jose Steven, Fernondo, Rafael and Mariano Venegas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jason Piercy.

Steven was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars and playing video games with his sons. Everything he did was for his boys.

The family will have a Private Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Day &Deremiah Frye Funeral Home.
