Rosemary Fields Charles Kinworthy, age 87, of Brownstown, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown.

Mrs. Kinworthy was of the Nazarene faith, and she attended Brownstown Church of the Nazarene.

She worked as a billing clerk at Schneck Medical Center for several years.

Rosemary loved and cherished her children and her extended family, and she treated each member of her extended family as her own. She loved to travel when she retired, camp with her late husband, Don, sew, and shop at flea markets. Rosemary enjoyed spending the winters in Florida and, she also enjoyed attending the Strawberry Festival in Florida each winter.

Born on June 27, 1936, in Stinesville, Rosemary was the daughter of Rev. William and Edna (McCall) Fields, both of whom preceded her in death. On August 7, 1955, she married Robert Charles, and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1995. She then married Don Kinworthy on January 5, 2001, and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2023.

Survivors include one son, James Charles; son-in-law, Scott Irvine of Toledo, Ohio; two step-sons: Brian (Janice) Kinworthy of Seymour, and Jared Kinworthy of Seymour; two step-daughters: Maria (Frank) Fisher of Norman, and Rhonda (Danny) Wilson of Freetown; one sister, Wilma Ruth Callahan Powers of Brownstown; three grandchildren: Liberty (Gary) Collins, Michelle (Jason) Sirk, and Justin Irvine; 20 step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; 28 step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Kinworthy was also preceded in death by two daughters: Leann Walker and Dana Irvine; one grandson, Casey Irvine; one step-son, Seth Kinworthy; one son-in-law, James Walker; and brother-in-law, Jack Callahan.

A graveside service for Rosemary Fields Charles Kinworthy will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, with Pastor Chris Criminger officiating.

Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
