Alfred “Deano” Riley, age 54, passed away December 2, 2023 at his residence in Seymour IN. He was born September 10, 1969 in Columbus IN to the late Alfred Riley and Linda Rich Riley of Seymour. He was employed in construction and was a Christian by faith. Dean loved motorcycles and the outdoors. He was a tender hearted man with an outgoing and loyal personality. He loved people, his friends, and his family. Dean was very patriotic and proudly loved flying his flag. Above all, he loved being “pop pop” to his grandchildren. He was a member of Kameron’s Ministry in Scottsburg and in the last few years developed a relationship with his Lord Jesus. Dean was preceded in death by his father Alfred Riley. He is survived by his mother, Linda Riley of Seymour; a son Alex Riley &wife Jennifer of Scottsburg; a daughter Erica Stewart &husband Brent of North Vernon; a sister Tina Riley &husband Judas of Seymour; and grandchildren Monroe Stewart and Genesis Riley.

James McBryant &Alex Riley will officiate services at 2pm, on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Christensen Family Funeral Home, 311 Holiday Square Road, Seymour IN 47174. Public visitation will be held, 5pm – 8pm Sunday, December 10, 2023 and 10am – 2pm Monday at the funeral home. Following the service on Monday, he will be laid to rest at New Bethel Cemetery.
