OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS

Raymond Dean Parrish, age 54, a resident of Overland Park, Kansas and formerly of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on August 12, 1969 to Jerry Parrish and his wife Regina of Belton, MO and the late Beverly (Brown) Dingess.

Raymond will forever be remembered as a big hearted man that often put others needs ahead of his own. He enjoyed hunting, anything outdoors, the Kansas City Chiefs and all dogs. He loved his job as security officer for Silver Crest at Deer Creek Senior Living.

He is survived by his wife Tammy (Lathrom) Parrish of Kansas City , Kansas. Three sons, Spencer Parrish of Seymour, Indiana, Brady Parrish of Kurtz, Indiana and Ashton Parrish of Oblong, Illinois. One brother, Bryan Wolfe of Olathe, Kansas and Four sisters, Tammy Timbers of Seymour, Indiana, Debby Dyer of Franklin, Indiana, Suzette Renee Parrish of Belton, Missouri and Sissy Zimmerman and her husband Scott of Springfield, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one sister, Michelle Borst, maternal grandparents, Harry and Kathryn Brown and paternal grandmother, Louise Parrish.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home, Seymour Chapel with funeral services beginning at 7:00 PM. Private family graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
