The Deputy family is saddened to announce the passing of Marie Ellen (Scott) Deputy. Born June 9, 1943 in Cooperstown, NY, to Albert and Miriam Scott. Died September 30, 2023, in Waco, TX. She was 80 years old. She loved books, music, animals, and most of all, her family. She will be remembered for her laugh, and for her caring and generous nature. Joy was her superpower. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Deputy. She is survived by her children, Robin Deputy (Pamela), Allison Deputy, and her three cherished grandchildren. She was loved dearly by all who knew her and she will be terribly missed.
