Join Seymour Main Street for its annual downtown Scarecrow Stroll.

Walk through the downtown to see the most creative and frightening scarecrow displays made by the community.

This is a free, fun, family event that can be enjoyed from Oct. 9 to 31. Review each scarecrow and cast your vote for your favorite scarecrow display. All locations will have a QR code to scan to cast your ballot electronically, and voting instructions also will be available at each display.

Each vote helps determine the winner, which will be announced Nov. 1. The winner will receive a plaque to display in their businesses for the year.

A list of participating businesses can be found by visiting seymourmaintreet.org or the Seymour Main Street Facebook or Instagram page.

Participants also are encouraged to stop by Burkhart Plaza for Seymour Main Street’s Scarecrow Selfie contest. Snap a picture with the hashtag #SeymourScarecrow and be entered to win prizes. Selfies can be submitted Oct. 9 to 31, and winners will be announced the first week of November.
